AstroPower is expanding its facilities and is looking for energetic, qualified individuals who are looking for an opportunity to make a difference.

We are seeking a motivated individual to fill this unique position requiring a blend of sales and procurement skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1) Identify and develop global semiconductor wafer recycling programs.

2) Establish long-term direct supply contracts with foundry, fab and reclaim operations.

3) Negotiate supplier sorting and evaluation methodologies.

Other responsibilities include development and maintenance of our information systems for wafer life cycle.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Qualified candidates will have a B.S. in engineering or related field and 5+ years of progressively responsible experience, preferably in sales or procurement within a high volume manufacturing setting.

Experience with technical business negotiation is a must. Extensive domestic and international communication (and some travel) is required.
