Position Overview

The Arbor Day Foundation is seeking an exceptional Program Coordinator to join our Programs team with the primary focus on our reforestation program. The Program Coordinator’s role is to create, execute and manage processes, nurture relationships with existing program partners, and lead internal teams to ensure program assignments are completed in an efficient and timely manner. The ideal candidate is an effective communicator, detail oriented, organized, can see the big picture and can multitask.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the tree inventory by working with internal teams to reserve requested inventory, maintain ongoing records of project availability to ensure inventory control and oversee funding for projects.
  • Proactively manage relationships with existing program partners through multiple communication methods.
  • Serve as liaison with all internal teams to provide support for their initiatives and keep them informed of reforestation program updates.
  • Develop and execute innovative ideas to establish and refine processes and systems for the reforestation program while maintaining the highest level of customer service.
  • Create and regularly provide metrics and stories associated with assigned program.
  • Plan forest visits for funding partners and execute on partner contracts.
