VerTerra manufactures and sells "dinnerware from fallen leaves" that is both stylish & eco-authentic. We sell to caterers, hotels, restaurants, museums, zoos, convention centers, foodservice distributors and on the retail side, Whole Foods and many other locations. Awards, amazing press, marquee events and top name clients are evidence that VerTerra is delivering the right product at the right time at the right price.

Position Overview:

We're looking for a bright, creative, personable, organized and energetic administrative, customer service, and perhaps marketing jack/jill of all trades to help further build our business and reputation. You will prepare orders, invoices, send samples, answer phones, communicate with prospects & customers, prepare for tradeshows and generally coordinate all office activities. As well, marketing sales support projects will be a key part of the job. You will also recruit and develop an intern program.

Qualifications:

Experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint required. Adobe creative programs knowledge a plus.

A passion for food/culinary and/or an eco-concious, sustainable lifestyle a plus.

We're located in Long Island City, two blocks from the 7 train.
