Description
Super Bowl is coming, and the New Jersey Meadowlands Commission and Green Restaurant Association are greening Meadowlands area restaurants.
If you want to be part of this exciting project, then apply for this 20 to 30 hour-per-week six-month long Meadowlands Green Restaurant Program Internship. This is a paid posiiton.
Responsibilities:
- Go door to door to speak with restaurants and encourage them to sign up for environmental audits and become more environmentally sustainable
- Make phone calls with similar purpose
- Reach out to vendors to gather environmental information regarding their products
- Gather information from restaurants for environmental audits
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Great communicator
- Prompt
- Comfortable and skilled on phone and in person
- Organized
- Excited about helping businesses go green
- Driver's license
- Detail-oriented
Compensation: This Intership offers $10.00 per hour.
