About the Team

The Marketing Team is currently seeking a Marketing Coordinator for our corporate office in Union City, CA. The Marketing Team consists of a Marketing Communications Manager, Marketing Strategy Manager, Marketing Coordinator and a Graphic Designer, working together to create, promote and nurture Tournesol Siteworks’ brand.

About the Role

As the Marketing Coordinator, you’ll work with the Marketing Communications Manager, the Sales Team, our other manufacturing facilities and other third-party contacts to execute communication strategies to engage, nurture, convert and retain customers and promote brand awareness.

The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for managing inventory and distribution of all marketing and promotional items including samples, catalogs and other literature and products; coordinating, managing and tracking all tradeshows, and managing inventory of the online company swag store . You’ll be based in our corporate office and manufacturing facility in Union City, CA. You’ll have a direct hand in accomplishing our #1 goal – a successful project in every way.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Sample Room Duties:

  • Request samples from production team, ensuring all samples are readily available
  • Manage inventory of all marketing items, including catalogs, samples and other literature
  • Mail out catalogs and marketing samples to customers from salesforce requests
  • Track and reorder packaging materials from USPS
  • Record mailings in Salesforce
  • Email sales and marketing teams when requests cannot be fulfilled

Tradeshow Duties:

  • Effectively organize and coordinate all trade shows (about 20 per year) which includes:
    • Registration
    • Manage events calendar and timely communication to sales and marketing teams
    • Inventory and asset management, including booths, signage, literature and product displays
    • Coordinate logistics of tradeshow deliverables from our various facilities to the tradeshows, including return shipping
    • Coordinate all vendors and services needed for tradeshow completion

Other Marketing Duties:

  • Assist with hotel room bookings for staff attending tradeshows, when needed
  • Order rep and office business cards
  • Manage the employee swag store which includes ordering items, assisting employees or their managers with order placement, shipping, and track all inventory and costs
  • Assist the Marketing Communications Manager with hosted in-house events for clients or sales staff
  • Other duties as requested by the Marketing Communications Manager, the Marketing Strategy Manager or the Executive Staff, in our marketing department or in our sales department.

Qualifications

Necessary Skills:

  • 2-3 years of relative experience, experience with tradeshow coordination is ideal
  • Must be detail-oriented
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Computer proficient in MS applications (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) and Salesforce
  • Ability to seek solutions to problems independently
  • Strong project and time management skills required
  • Ability to be creative and flexible, even in stressful situations
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • Regular attendance is critical
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
