Position Overview:

We are seeking to hire In-House Legal Counsel to join our team in Boulder. This person will provide legal guidance and administration of corporate and business matters. They will simultaneously work as a co-owner and participate with company big picture decision making, strategic planning, as well as projects that make a positive impact on our community.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate between company's legal committee, board of directors, general outside counsel, et al
• Guide and administer corporate structure: shareholder Agreements, employment agreements, etc
• Guide and administer matters of business law: contracts for residential & commercial installations, subcontractor agreements, EPC, etc
• Assist Policy Director with interpreting statutes and regulations as well as help draft PUC testimony
• Perform risk assessment, offer general legal advice, and proactively address potential liabilities, as necessary

Qualifications:

Desired Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years experience in a related practice area
• Passed Colorado Bar Exam

Education:

• Juris Doctorate from ABA accredited university
