High Voltage Coordinator

At Permian Energy Services we provide services to a variety of clients in the energy industry ranging from pre-construction planning, fatal flaw analysis, environmental/biological studies, permitting, utility locating, cross agreements, land work, wetland delineations, and many more.

Position Overview

We are seeking a High Voltage Coordinator to fill a position in Abilene, TX. This role will oversee all aspects of medium and high voltage electric projects and operations that include industrial, wind, solar, and utility construction and operation. Compensation is DOE.

Responsibilities Include:

• Manage project leaders and track projects in terms of time, cost, quality, risks and liability.
• Be able to lead multiple people as a team, embody the culture of the company, and be a great communicator.
• Develop a detailed project plan, track project progress, measure project performance. Shall be able to report to ownership regularly and provide weekly updates to electrical division direction and overall operational goals.
• Develop, review, and amend internal operating procedures related to underground URD construction, 34.5kV termination procedures, installing pad-mount transformers, splicing 34.5kV cable, servicing substations, balance of plant operations procedures, and company operating policies.
• Manage the relationships with clients and establish and maintain relationships third parties/vendors and factories.

Qualifications

Skills:

• Proven working experience with medium and high voltage wind farms and/or utility power generation activities for at least 6 years.
• Excellent client-facing and internal communications skills
• Strong orientation to reach the targets and to customer satisfaction, initiative, and exceptional ability to motivate others and work in teams.
• Bachelors degree is recommended, but not required.
