EQuIS is used by many government agencies, Industrial property owners, over 200 consultants, and over 350 analytical labs, in Australia, the US, UK, and around the world. Because of our client list and Open Systems business model, many partners innovate on EQuIS software.
We have encapsulated EQuIS with ArcGIS for unparalleled GIS-driven power, interfacing additionally to several other commercial software. With our EQuIS Enterprise web components, the many casual users can generate or automatically receive reports and graphics that were previously only available via a couple power users. EQuIS 5 provides both the ‘Expert System' capabilities for decision support of EQuIS Professional combined with the low-cost easy EQuIS Enterprise web modules for ubiquitous use and data mining.

Position Overview:
As a member of the EarthSoft Help Desk team, you will be responsible for providing tier 1 support for our clients. This support will be provided via email, telephone, and/or Live Meeting. Some travel is required. A broad range of troubleshooting skills is required in order to support the installation and use of EQuIS, EarthSoft's Environmental Quality Information System.
Qualifications:
*Strong customer service/support skills including active listening, excellent verbal and written communication; Ability to research and resolve problems using a variety of resources and tools; Experience in a support environment desirable.
*Strong software application aptitude; Experience with EQuIS highly desirable but not required.
*High initiative; Ability to work with minimal supervision. Able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously. Superior interpersonal skills.
*Ability to work from home with access to a high-speed internet connection.
*Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Environmental or Geological Sciences (or similar), or Geography highly desirable.
*Basic Windows Platform knowledge required. Working knowledge of MS Office.
