Construction Site Manager (Wind)

Piper Maddox have been retained by an exciting client in the Wind Energy space to recruit a Site Manager for construction projects across the US & Canada. Our client's North American based business has grown significantly over the last few years; part of a European Group they are a respected and trusted services provider who can offer exceptional opportunity for development and internal progression.

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Site Manager from a Wind Farm Construction background to support - and ultimately take the reins - for an ongoing project in Texas. This opportunity will then see you move onto the next project in their pipeline.

This is an excellent opportunity to work directly with the President & the Head of Onshore Wind. For the right person this could be THE opportunity to land a role which would see you operating in a multisite capacity within 1-3 years.

Essential Experience Required:

• Experience in Wind farm Construction in a role with site wide responsibility as Construction Manager, Site Manager or similar.
• Strong project management skills; professional qualifications such as PMP or CAPM are preferred.
• A strong track record of driving safety as a top priority; ideally formal qualification in ASP, CSP, SMS or similar.
• Ability and willingness to climb to heights up to 350 feet.
• Valid driver's licence.
• Eligibility to work in the US, clean criminal record and ability to pass a drugs and alcohol test as requested by the employer.

Location: The ideal candidate will need to base himself out of the Texas office with the expectation to travel as required (80%+).
