Position Overview

ECS is seeking a Natural Resources Project Manager.

Responsibilities

You will be part of a dynamic, growing, and energized team - and your role is key to the success of ECS. While your job duties may fluctuate day to day, here are some areas we expect to see you proficient in:

  • Conducting and managing wetland and natural resource projects.
  • Federal [USACE] and State wetlands regulations and guidelines.
  • Performing wetland delineations and documentation.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the 404/401 regulatory/permitting process.
  • Performing stream assessments and studies.
  • Identification of Seasonal High Water Tables.
  • Project management, proposal generation and preparation, business development, and managing client relationships.

Qualifications

  • BS in Natural Resources, Soil Science, Biology, Ecology, Botany, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of related experience.
  • LSS or PWS preferred but not required.

Additionally:

  • As a Natural Resource Project Manager, you are smart, strong, and have a “roll up your sleeves” attitude toward your work.
  • You have a passion for wetlands along with other natural resources.
  • You are extremely detail-oriented when conducting your evaluations and assessments.
  • You have great communication skills and are easily able to interact with your team and clients.
  • You are comfortable both out on the field as well as in the office setting writing reports.
