Description

~ Ice911 is a nonprofit Silicon Valley moonshot. Founded in 2008 by Dr. Leslie Field, we now have years of extensive field testing, the science and technology, team, and experience needed to stabilize the climate through Arctic sea ice preservation and restoration and avoid the worst impacts of climate change. ~

Our methods and approach will buy all of us more time to adopt global sustainable solutions like renewable energy, electric transport, carbon sequestration and carbon use reduction.

It's time to act. Do you have the fundraising experience and collaborative skills to help Ice911 fund our work restoring Arctic ice and pioneering the way to slow and reverse global warming?

With humble offices in Redwood City and a current budget of about $1M, we want to assertively expand our funding base to support a $10M organization by 2022. Our current funding is primarily through private and family foundation contributions.

We are seeking to expand that base to include strategic partnerships, environmentally- focused foundations and Federal support. For more about our history, defining principles, science, and team visit our website.
