Position Overview

The Energy Extension Project Assistant will help build an online “energy extension resource center” by gathering, evaluating and organizing existing materials and helping to update and/or develop others. The goal of this project is to provide individuals, business owners and others with valuable resources to learn about and evaluate various energy conservation and renewable energy options.

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Bachelor’s degree and functional understanding of building science, renewable energy, and other, related topics.

Preferred:

  • Experience technical information to lay audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and contribute effectively to teams.

Compensation

  • $15 to $22 per hour.
  • Pay will be commensurate with applicant competencies, budget, equity and market considerations.

Additional Information

  • Work Schedule/Hours: Varies during regular work days – Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • Number of Hours Per Week: Varies.
  • Number of Months Per Year: 3
  • Mandatory Staff: No
  • Physical Demands of Position: General office environment.
