Position Overview

Our Shreveport Air Quality Program is seeking an Environmental Engineer with 0 – 3 years of experience to provided general compliance services to our public, private, and industrial clients by assisting in the preparation of air quality permit applications and other regulatory documents, performing data analysis, conducting air emissions calculations, and developing spreadsheets, tables, and reports.

This position will provide a variety of challenging projects and lead to opportunities for advancement in project management, technical report writing, and a career in consulting.

Qualifications

  • BS in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical or other related Engineering degree;
  • General knowledge of Water, Waste, and Air Quality compliance issues;
  • Excellent mathematical and computer skills, (capacity for statistics and computer modeling);
  • Proficient with MS Office programs;
  • Excellent attention to details;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Willingness to travel to project sites out of area (approximately 10% travel);
  • Flexible to work outside normal work schedule as needed;
  • Must be at least 23 years of age with a clean driving record (will be verified with MVR); Must be able to satisfy all Drug & Alcohol, Health & Safety, and Security requirements to access clients’ facilities;
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and maintain successful client relationships; and
  • Eager to excel as an individual and in a team environment.
