Position Overview

As an Environmental Senior Project Manager, you have strong leadership skills as well as a great eye for detail. You are heavily skilled both out in the field and working with clients. Leading your team by example is second nature to you – through excellent assessments, studies and reports. You have a passion for all things environmental – principals, applications, permitting processes, regulations and test methods. You are extremely hard working and strive to ensure that your team delivers the best quality. Responsibilities

You will be a part of a dynamic, growing and energized company that is known for “Setting the Standard for Service” – and your role is key to the success of ECS in the local market. While your job duties may fluctuate day to day, here are some areas we expect to see you proficient in:

• Serving as the “pioneer” in expanding ECS services into the local market
• Coupling local market knowledge and ECS practices to hit the ground running with local clients and projects
• Continually building and maintaining rapport with clients
• Business development and marketing – Essentially serving as the local face of ECS
• Being the jack of all trades in both “selling” and “doing” the work of ongoing environmental projects
• Preparing technical reports and proposals

Broad environmental consulting knowledge base with an ability to transfer skills across service lines to include:

• Phase I/II Studies, environmental site assessments, wetland delineations, groundwater and soil investigations
• Industrial Hygiene related projects including asbestos and lead based paint
• Remediation System Design, underground storage tank assessment and remediation assessments

Qualifications

If you can accomplish the above, your boots are probably ready for walking right into this role. Realistically though, you need the following to be considered:

• BS or MS in Geology or a discipline related to Environmental Science
• 7+ years of Geology, Environmental Engineering or related experience
• A minimum of 5 years consulting experience in the local market
• Professional Geologist (PG) or Professional Engineer (PE) license would go a long way
