Position Overview

Our clients depend on us to deliver complete solutions to their environmental needs on time and at competitive cost. We are seeking a client-oriented, technically strong and business-minded senior environmental professional to take a leadership role in the firm with focus on quality and growth through client satisfaction and business development.

The Principal Environmental Consultant will maintain quality in the details while keeping the end-goal in sight.

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in a geological science or engineering, preferably a Masters of Science or Engineering
  • Professional registration that is current or transferrable in SC and NC
  • 15 – 20 years of experience in environmental site assessments and ex-situ and in-situ remediation technologies
  • Strong organizational, technical and business communication skills with clients, regulators and team members in written and oral form
  • Dependable, highly motivated and self-driven, who works well as a team member or independently and is prepared to be in a leadership role
  • In-depth knowledge of the various state and federal environmental regulatory programs pertaining to site investigation, remediation and permitting (CERCLA, RCRA, SCDHEC VCP, NCDEQ REC)
  • Strong experience in current site investigation methods and technologies, groundwater, surface water, soil and vapor remediation technologies including chemical, biological and physical remediation methods and technologies, and geochemical data evaluation
  • Planning and conducting hydrogeological evaluations including aquifer tests and modeling
