Position Overview
YMCA Camp Grady Spruce is now hiring Outdoor Instructors for the Fall 2018/Spring 2019 Outdoor Education season! The YMCA Camp Grady Spruce Outdoor Education program runs throughout the year. This position starts August 27, 2018 and ends on May 31, 2019. $340 to $370/week. Residential Outdoor Education at it's finest! Great perks package, excellent housing, enriching teaching environment, cosmic learning opportunities, outstanding school groups, hands on outdoor instruction, healthy work environment and meals while conducting programs.
YMCA Camp Grady Spruce seeks highly motivated, adventurous, creative, crafty and spirited Educators with a natural love for the outdoors and teaching for it's awesome Outdoor Education Program. YMCA Camp Grady Spruce is located on 535 pristine acres on the shores of beautiful Possum Kingdom Lake in North Central Texas and serves thousands of 4th/5th graders from the DFW/North Texas region and beyond.

- Outdoor Living Skills
- Horsemanship
- Raccoon Circles
- Sensory Awareness
- Archery
- Path to Verse
- Conservation Projects and Low Ropes
- Just to name a few
- Hand's on education at it's finest!

- Evening programs
- Program maintenance
