Virgin Green Fund was established by Virgin Group to invest in companies in the renewable energy and resource efficiency sectors in the US and Europe.
We are a multi-stage investment firm investing primarily in expansion/growth capital with an allocation to earlier stage venture capital opportunities. Our growth stage investments range from $15-$20 million. Virgin can operate both as a lead investor and in syndication.
Virgin Green Fund invests in companies whose products and services reduce net greenhouse gas emissions and/or improve management of scarce resources, operate in environmentally and economically sustainable markets, and have a long-term positive impact on their communities and society more broadly.
We invest in sectors including: renewable energy, energy storage, pollution monitoring technologies, water management, transportation, waste management, and energy efficiency.
Please note that we do not accept investment proposals via email. If you would like to submit a proposal, please use this form.
