DIF Renewable Energy seeks to invest in projects that are in construction or operation, with no development risk.  The fund invests predominantly in onshore wind power projects, but will also consider other forms of renewable energy, such as solar.

The geographic focus of the fund is Europe and selectively in North America. As of June 2009, DIF Renewable Energy has acquired 220 MW of wind energy projects that are in construction or operation in Germany, France and The Netherlands and an interest in 2 operational solar photovoltaic projects in Spain. We have invested €134 million to date. Our investments are typically in the tens of millions EUR.
