England-based Amadeus invests as both an angel and venture capital investor across a wide spectrum of industries: communications and networking hardware and software, media, e-commerce, computer hardware and software, plus the medical technology and clean energy technology sectors.

With £460m under management, Amadeus has active investments in about 40 companies at any time, across Europe and selectively in Israel. Rather than investing in "new wrinkles", the firm invests in novel technologies: seed; expansion; bridge finance, secondary purchase/replacement capital.

Amadeus & Angels Seed Fund: With £10 million under management and up to £10 million for co-investment from the Amadeus main funds, the Amadeus and Angels Seed Fund focuses on seed stage technology companies in the UK. AASF is jointly funded by Amadeus, the UK Department of Trade and Industry’s Enterprise Capital Fund, business angels and private investors. As a result, AASF has access to proprietary, high-quality deal flow, complemented by the discipline of a large VC fund and the expert knowledge of business angels.
