Grupo ECOS is a private equity / investment fund (Ecos Sustainable Equity Fund, Inc.) with an investment focus in Latin America in small and medium sized companies with growth potential, active in sustainable development.

Founded by Swiss partners committed with Latin America, the geographical investment focus of Grupo Ecos is particularly this region, not ruling out sporadic analysis of investment opportunities in other parts of the world. Our main investment sectors include sustainable forestry projects (Ecoforest Panama, Silvotecnia), renewable energy (Solar Century, Hybrytec, Entelin) environmental consulting and remediation services (Grupo ECOGEO, BIOSOL). We also invested in Ecotourism (Cielos Patagónicos SA) and natural food products (SolCaribe).

We are primarily intersted in minority positions in middle market companies and late stage venture capital, but Grupo Ecos will consider early stage enterprises or angel investments as well as majority positions in exceptional circumstances. The majority of our later stage investments range from a few million to tens of millions.
