Greenhouse Capital Partners is a European real estate investment and operating company creating truly aligned partnerships with investors and entrepreneurs. We focus on investment opportunities within industries which have highly specific real estate requirements and where we believe that significant value can be created for our investors as well as our industry partners. Led by Henri de Bokay and George Tyler, Greenhouse is currently active in France, Germany and Italy. Greenhouse’s Berlin subsidiary, ARB Asset Management, provides investment and asset management services to international investors in the German market.

Greenhouse Capital Partners was founded in January 2006 and is based in Sausalito, California. We specialize in seed, start up, and early stage investments. The firm seeks to invest in the cleantech and alternative energy innovations sector. We have made some investments outside that practice area in information technology and life sciences. We prefers to invest in pre venture capital stage and provide series A financing. At that stage the firm prefers to invest between $0.25 million and $1 million in its portfolio companies. The firm has made some significantly larger investments in select opportunities at series B and C.
We prefer to obtain board representation in its portfolio companies. To date, we have made a number of investments in the Clean Technology business space that include Solaicx, groSolar (solar), HIDLabs (efficient lighting), lifefactory (green products), Windspire Energy (wind), Renewable Fuel Products (biomass).
