Biography

The Development Bank of the Philippines works with the World Bank and GEF to support reforms and priority investments to improve quality of life in rural and urban areas throughout the Phillipines. We do this through the provisions of adequate, affordable and reliable financial products. 

We finance a variety of projects including industry, public utilities, land, air, and water transportation, telecommunications, power generation and distribution, water supply and distribution, housing, hospitals, schools, infrastructure, eco-tourism, agro-industrial, environmental, pollution control and abatement, waste minimization and recycling, efficient use and/or management of natural resources, establishment of Environmental Management System (EMS), and certification under ISO 14000. We also provide micro-financing, lending program for franchises, and support new and renewable energy (NRE) projects.

Single proprietorships, registered partnerships, cooperatives, associations, private corporations, private financial institutions, local government units, non-government organizations are all eligible.
