Successful applications to The ICEHOUSE Seed Fund are matched by the New Zealand Venture Investment Fund’s Seed Co-Investment Fund (SCIF), enabling Kiwi entrepreneurs to source up to $150,000 NZD for their project. ICEHOUSE Seed funding is only available to occupants of the ICE Accelerator. The ICE Accelerator is interested in high-growth ventures from across the economic spectrum. Sectors of particular interest include: Communications & networking, Mobile commerce, Information technology, Software, Biometrics, Digital media & content, Computing / peer-to-peer initiatives, Biomaterials & material sciences, Wireless technology, Agri-technologies, and Creative industries.

ICE angels invest in ICE Accelerator companies and opportunities outside the ICEHOUSE network. To-date ICE Angels have invested approximately $1 million NZD per 13 companies over 32 rounds.
