Position Overview

As Sustainability Coordinator, you will report directly to the Procurement Manager and be responsible for the effective management and implementation of Highland's Sustainable Biomass Policy, ensuring all fiber procurement processes and systems adhere to all internal and external regulations. 

You will be tasked with leading annual surveillance audits for SBP, FSC Chain of Custody, PEFC Chain of Custody and SFI Fiber Sourcing.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Upkeep of Highland's Sustainability Policy and Procedures.
  • Monitoring compliance of fiber procurement supply chain, from forest through to end cutomer.
  • Sustainability operations associated with track & trace, 3LOG and SBP DTS.
  • On-going data management of sustainability credit accounting and maintaining objective evidence for future surveillance audits.
  • Training will be provided, but preferred candidate will have at least 2 years experience in a related field.
  • Possibility of remote working might be considered.
