Position Overview

GreenSpoon is seeking candidates for the position of Regional Manager - Southwest Region. This position will be based in Austin, Texas, and travel will be required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and strengthen relationships with Key Accounts and their key account chain buyers, Distributors (UNFI & KeHE).
  • Develop positive and trusting relationships with all principals as the primary point of contact. Address concerns and resolve issues.
  • Work with the SW sales manager to continuously improve effectiveness and productivity of team. 
  • Be proactive in supporting retailers, distributors with store openings, distributor tabletops, ExpoWest, etc.
  • Be proactive in recommending ways to increase sales for principals.
  • Develop, submit and recommend strategic /sound promotional plans for key principals.  
  • Collaborate with GSYY leadership team to generate ideas for growing our Principals’ business and make suggestions for improvement.
  • Collaborate with GSYY leadership team to think of ways to continuously improve ourselves, our service to our principals and the well-being of our team.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Great Attention to Detail
  • Proficiency in MS Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Excellent Time Management Skills
  • Ability to Multi-Task
  • Strong Interest in Organic Food and Products
  • Reliable transportation 
  • Ability to work flexible hours (overnighter/early mornings)
  • College Degree Preferred
  • Natural food/grocery experience required
  • Minimum Experience Required: 3-5 years
