In fact, the company has the largest installed biogas upgrader base in the world and the largest biogas plant in the world in Montreal, Quebec. The company provides a variety of customized solutions but its water-wash technology is regarded as one of the most effective, economical and cleanest biogas technologies in the market. 

The company was purchased by Pressure Technologies, a FTSE listed company in 2013 and has grown to over 40 staff across 7 continents. The company is in the midst of significant transformation as it positions itself as a leading technology provider and centralizes its operations in Vancouver.

Position Overview

The Board is seeking a new President who can lead the organization through organizational and cultural transformation and significant growth as it seeks to become the industry leader in what is projected to be a $2-3 billion biogas market by 2020. 

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Chief Executive of Pressure Technologies, the President will be accountable for the global business leadership of the company with a mandate to drive profitable growth and optimize business success.
• He/she will need to develop a new vision and strategy for the company which identifies key markets and sectors for focus, reviews and optimizes the organizational structure, ensures the team is well positioned to deliver on the needs of the business, and ultimately drive growth and profitability through new market penetration.  

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will bring a demonstrated track record of success driving top- and bottom-line growth as a President or divisional Vice President/GM with full P&L responsibility.
• He/she would have gained this experience in a parallel technology or industrial equipment, EPCM, or a utility organization where successful commercial negotiations, project management, and an understanding of procurement and engineering are key factors for success.
• Specific experience working in and selling into international markets is required.  
• He or she must be a visionary and effective leader able to inspire and mentor a global team.
• Proven business development skill and strong commercial acumen will be essential for success.
