~ Chino Valley Ranchers is a third generation family owned and operated egg producers headquartered in Southern California. ~

We provide a full line of fresh shell eggs with 100% of our production being either cage free or certified organic. We are a leader in the industry with specialized egg offerings. In addition we now offer a full line of fresh/frozen cage free or organic egg products. We have been in business since 1953.

Position Overview

This position will call on new and existing food service and retail accounts in the Western US to promote and sell a full line of cage free and organic shell egg and egg products. He/She will leverage existing relationships with distributors and brokers while identifying new opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Research/target prospective foodservice and retail accounts
  • Extend current selections in existing foodservice and retail accounts
  • Schedule appointments, meeting existing customers to review product required to determine additional sales opportunities
  • Work several Food shows within the region
  • Continually updating all customers on company product selections
  • Work with existing broker and distributor sales teams to educate them on products available
  • Develop new accounts within the assigned territory for egg products and shell eggs
  • Maintaining professionalism, diplomacy, sensitivity and tact to portray the company in a positive manner

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • 2+ years of outside sales with emphasis on foodservice/natural product sales
  • Effective time management, organizational and strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while working well with others, leveraging strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients and customers
  • Excellent team player
  • Proven sales track record and solid retail distribution background with a strong ability to close the sale
  • Valid driver’s license, car insurance, a satisfactory driving record and use of a reliable personal vehicle. Mileage to be reimbursed
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication and strong presentation skills
  • Some travel within Western US and some weekends with advanced notice required
