~ The South Atlantic Fishery Management Council conserves and manages America's fisheries from three to 200 miles off the coasts of North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Florida. ~

Position Overview

The South Atlantic Fishery Management Council is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Fishery Outreach Specialist.

The incumbent will be responsible for the development and implementation of appropriate outreach programs and activities as assigned by the Council, the Executive Director, or the Citizen Science Program Manager.

The position is expected to communicate the Council’s management goals, strategies, and activities to the public as well as solicit the involvement of the fishing public in the development of these management goals, strategies, and activities.
