Position Overview

Vibrant Health is seeking applicants for the position of Direct Sales Representative to cover the territory of Northern California.

Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
  • Sells nutritional supplement products to assigned list of Retail Accounts.
  • Travels daily throughout territory to make in-person sales calls to assigned accounts and prospects.
  • Determines customer needs and sales potential.
  • Provides customer service (i.e. product and promotional program education, inventory, product demonstrations, merchandising) within assigned list of accounts.
  • Answers/returns correspondence (i.e. phone, email, etc.) from accounts to resolve questions regarding products, programs & promotions.
  • Works effectively and efficiently with company personnel to expand and serve assigned accounts.
  • Identifies areas of growth within assigned accounts and works with appropriate personnel to achieve.
  • Participates in and travels (when necessary) to meetings, account events, regional and national seminars, company sales training.
Responsibilities
 
  • Deliver profitable new business revenue growth in assigned territory.
  • Responsible for vetting and closing business across assigned territory.
  • Initiate sales calls and work assigned prospects, leads, and self-prospects within a given time frame to capture new customers.
  • Establish, follow, and grow sales routes across assigned territory, achieving new business revenue growth.
  • Attend marketing opportunities such as seminars and trade shows within assigned territory.
Qualifications
  • Experience in Natural Industry.
  • 3 to 5 years related experience in a sales environment.
  • Must have knowledge of a variety of basic computer software applications: Microsoft, NetSuite preferred.
  • Work requires strong presentation skills and continual attention to detail while establishing priorities and meeting sales goals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients and customers.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
