Our sustainability reporting services include Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark (GRESB), United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment (UNPRI), Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) reporting. Position Overview

We have an immediate opening for a highly motivated individual who is passionate about sustainability and has a degree in engineering, architecture, or other field related to buildings and/or sustainability. All employees work in our Dallas, TX office.

Responsibilities

About the Job:

  • Prepare LEED Gap Analyses
  • Work with property vendors and suppliers to verify LEED compliance
  • Prepare for tenant and vendor meetings
  • Ensure each project stays within a set budget
  • Direct communication with property teams
  • Benchmark and optimize properties using ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager
  • Review utility bills and input data into Portfolio Manager
  • Analyze transportation/occupant survey results
  • Review tenant purchases for LEED compliance
  • Measure square footages in building site plans and drawings using PDF editor software
  • Complete LEED forms and calculations
  • Collaborate with team members on cross functional projects
  • Travel several times throughout the year to project sites

Qualifications

  • The ideal associate project manager not only understands the high quality of the work provided by LORD Green to its clients but also has a passion for sustainability in the commercial real estate industry.
  • This detail-oriented and analytical individual assists the Senior Project Manager with green building certification consulting relating to tenant and vendor correspondence, data analysis and building system performance calculations. With excellent written and verbal communication skills, this associate project manager is in direct communication with property teams, vendors and internal team members.
  • This associate project manager is comfortable traveling several times throughout the year to meet with property teams, tenants and vendors at the project sites.
  • This organized person is able to remain flexible with changing priorities and is able to multitask efficiently.
  • The ideal candidate is a true team player who supports the senior project manager and other team members.
  • This associate project manager is a self-starter and takes the initiative to complete tasks on his/her own with the help and guidance from the senior project manager. This person understands the importance of meeting deadlines and being respectful, honest, organized, detail-oriented, and driven to provide quality work.

Specifications

Required:

  • Passion for sustainability and green buildings
  • 4 year college degree
  • Degree in engineering, architecture, or other field related to buildings and/or sustainability
  • Proven track record of managing projects independently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and PDF editor software
  • Work in our Dallas, TX office

Preferred:

  • Knowledge and experience in the commercial real estate industry
  • Knowledge of the green building industry
  • Experience using ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager
  • 3 years of experience in a similar field

Desired:

  • LEED Accredited Professional
