Position Overview

The Marine Stewardship Council (MSC), a global non-profit organization, is seeking an Administrative Assistant to the Regional Director, Americas. The position is based in our Washington, DC office.

Who are you?

  • An experienced administrator with excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Outlook, Excel, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint and Office 365.
  • You will have good verbal and written communication skills, be fluent in English and Spanish is preferred but not required.
  • You will have excellent organizational skills with experience in making executive travel arrangements, event planning and managing multiple calendars across various time zones.

Through our world-leading certification and ecolabeling program we recognize and reward sustainable fisheries and through the leadership of our partners, create market incentives to encourage other fisheries to improve the way they operate.

Over 300 fisheries around the world, representing 12 % of the annual global marine catch, are now engaged in the MSC program. MSC certified and labelled seafood products are now available in over 100 countries.
