Position Overview

JEO Consulting Group, Inc. has an opening for a Senior Environmental Scientist having a minimum 8 years of experience. Duties will include preparing and/or directing the preparation of environmental planning documents and permit applications.

Qualifications

• 8 years of leadership and management experience.
• This person must have experience with providing leadership to an environmental team, leading or providing oversight on multiple and wide-ranging environmental services, and managing across multiple disciplines and departments.
• The candidate needs to have strong relationship-building skills to help deliver quality products to customers in an expanding marketplace.
• This position is on a diverse, high performance team and the ideal candidate must, above all else, be outgoing, technically sound, energetic, team oriented, and able to “make-it-happen!”
• Prior experience must also include working on environmental reports for NDOR and/or Iowa DOT. Must have good writing and communication skills.
• Prior experience working with NEPA, Clean Water Act, Endangered Species Act, Section 404 permitting, wetland delineations, and other environmental disciplines is required.
