We operate the largest aquaponic system in New England and will be building out an even larger greenhouse this fall. Currently, our farm produces a little under a quarter million heads of certified organic lettuce, operates year round, and saves about 2.2 million gallons of water while using a tenth of the space compared to traditional agriculture annually. We are a small, but rapidly growing, crew so the job includes a variety of tasks surrounding production and delivery.
Position Overview
Springworks is currently seeking a Senior Aquaponic Greenhouse Employee.
Responsibilities
- Harvest and pack orders for delivery or pickup
- Seed and transplant plant trays
- Keep a clean and safe working environment
- Deliver product to our customers
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations
Qualifications
- Experience with gardening or farming is preferred but not required.
- High school or equivalent
- Driver's License
Compensation: $11.50 /hour
