We install solar photovoltaic systems for residential and commercial customers and are responsible for the sale, design, financing, and installation of hundreds of solar energy projects throughout the State of Texas.

Position Overview

Native is seeking talented and driven people to join our team, take their careers to the next level, while continuing to grow our business as the leader in solar energy development. Residential Energy Consultants have the opportunity to educate homeowners to the benefit of alternative energy and save them money. Using state of the art software, you will present the layout, function and benefits of solar energy based on the customer’s needs. We will provide marketing support and some company generated leads, but reward those who create self-generated leads through their own networks.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with homeowners and educate them on solar incentive opportunities
  • Work with on-line tools to develop solar system designs as a visual example for homeowners
  • Conduct analysis of customer’s current and projected electrical usage and financial ROI
  • Generate project proposals and quotes for customers
  • Participate in full life cycle sales and lead generation
  • Log all communications in company Customer Relationship Management system (CRM) contact database
  • Collaborate with Native Team to ensure customer satisfaction from day 1 through solar installation

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Ready to invest time and hard work to be a part of a leading company in a growing industry
  • Passion and drive to succeed
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb on residential rooftops, and endure extreme weather conditions
  • Must be flexible to work evening appointments and Saturdays
  • Contribute to a fun and welcoming work environment
  • Motivated by career advancement, high income potential, and making a difference
  • High integrity, able to put customers at ease
  • Four year college degree highly preferred, but not required
  • Solar or roofing experience preferred
  • Sincere interest in renewable energy
  • Outside sales, Marketing or sales-related experience is required
  • Background in solar energy or construction industry preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Software, Adobe, CRM, Google and mobile technology
  • High level of organizational skills
  • Attention to detailExcellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Positive attitude
  • Business development / lead generation capabilities
  • Ability to close a complex idea in a short sales cycle
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Must pass pre-employment background check, have a clean driving record, valid Texas driver’s license and reliable transportation
