Position Overview

TTL, Inc. is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer. 

Responsibilities

Project Management:

• Safety, cost estimating, proposal preparation, develop and plan investigations, monitoring project schedules to meet deadlines, cost control, project invoicing and contract review.

Engineering:

• Ability to identify geotechnical engineering issues and present multiple effective solutions in a written report or on engineering construction plans.
• Perform and review geotechnical design calculations and prepare construction plans.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience:

• BS or MS (preferred) in Civil Engineering specializing in geotechnical engineering.
• 10+ years of geotechnical engineering experience (preferred in Texas).
• 7+ years of progressive project management experience.
• Experience with expansive soils, soft soils, shallow and deep foundations, design of retaining walls, soil laboratory testing and field experience related to earthwork activities.
• Texas P.E. license.
• Effective communication and organizational skills.
