~ Terrapro Solutions provides development services to utility-scale renewable energy developers. We also provide solutions in Phase I - Pre Development, Phase II - Financing Due Diligence/Construction, Phase III - Construction, Phase IV - Post Construction Financing - Operations. ~

Position Overview

The Real Estate & Title Specialist position requires experience in the areas of real estate land, title and survey review, loan documentation for commercial transactions), and general knowledge of the legal process as it relates to the financial services associated with a real estate transaction. Applicant must have a strong understanding of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions and financing. Previous experience with a title company, financial institution, or legal service provider is required. This individual must possess a professional manner, have the ability to work with a large volume of files on a daily basis and enjoy being part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Candidate will be responsible for reviewing title reports, underlying documents, ALTA surveys, deeds, transfer declarations, bills of sale, and entity organizational documents, leases, loan documentation and other transactional documents
  • Draft leases, purchase contracts, easements, deeds, and related documents
  • Review and report on title commitments and exception documents
  • Review and report on ALTA surveys including 2016 ALTA requirements
  • Coordination and preparation legal documents for closings
  • Assist project development
  • Communicate with clients
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in real estate paralegal position
  • Knowledge of 2016 ALTA
  • Understand lender due diligence requirements
  • Commercial property development experience
  • Legal Real Estate & title experience
  • Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
  • Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Customer service orientation
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • 4-year college degree
  • Paralegal certificate

Certificates, Licences, Registrations:

  • Possess and maintain valid Driver’s License and have access to reliable transportation suitable to complete necessary work out of the office
