Senior Analyst, Settlement Operations

Position Overview

As a Senior Analyst on the Settlement Operations team, you will support hedge contract settlement and reporting by ingesting, processing, and analyzing wind farm operational data.

Responsibilities

• Analyze wind farm operational data and power market data
• Perform calculations supporting settlement, reporting, and structuring of hedging contracts
• Develop and execute quality control checks of data critical to client deliverables

Qualifications

Required:

• Major in atmospheric science, meteorology, engineering, physics, or a related field
• Self-motivated & detail-oriented: capable of executing complex analyses with little oversight
• A passion for driving down the cost of energy from renewable sources
• Travel: Minimal

Preferred:

• Experience working with data from operational wind farms (1-5 years)
• Experience working with power market data (1-5 years)
• Experience with the R or other related programming languages (1-5 years)
