Since the first County parkland was acquired in 1924, the Santa Clara County park system has grown to include 28 regional parks encompassing over 52,000 acres of land.

Our dedicated ranger, maintenance and interpretive staff are necessary complements to the overall park experience, taking an active role in the stewardship of the County’s finest natural resources and waterways especially with the assistance from our 1,400 volunteers who selflessly donate more than 60,000 hours of labor each year.

Position Overview

Santa Clara County Parks and Recreation and the Santa Clara Valley Habitat Agency is currently hiring a Senior Real Estate Agent. Santa Clara County Parks and Recreation is partnering with the Santa Clara Valley Habitat Agency to hire a real property professional who will be Lead within the existing Parks and Recreation Department and the newly created Santa Clara Valley Habitat Agency.

Responsibilities

• This Parks and Habitat Agency professional will work within the existing County job code of Senior Real Estate Agent as part of a team of County Park and Habitat Agency professionals.
• This team witl develop, negotiate, and manage agreement which protect wildlife habitat and provide multiple park/trail/recreation amenities for humans, wildlife, and vegetation within a regional parsk system of over 52,000 acres and a future Habitat Reserve System of approximately 47,000 acres.

Compensation: Annual salary range is $106,728.96 - $129,733.76.
