Position Overview

The instructor will guide students in an ecological approach to the study of conservation of natural resources as related to current environmental problems. The course begins with an overview of natural ecological processes - how the world works, considers our dependence on the natural world, followed by a summary of how we impact the natural world by our activities. The course culminates in considering the opportunities that we have to restore and sustain God's creation.

Qualifications

Preferred:

  • Ph.D. or other doctorate with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the discipline stated in the Title of Posting

Required:

  • A master’s degree with minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the discipline stated in the Title of Posting

Required Skills:

  • Demonstrated teaching abilities
  • Demonstrated higher education experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using Microsoft products
  • Demonstrated knowledge of adult learners
  • Demonstrated knowledge of online educational delivery tools
