Position Overview

EarthCon Consultants, Inc., a national environmental consulting firm, is seeking a Staff Engineer/Geologist/Environmental Engineer for our Memphis, Tennessee location. We are seeking an environmental professional with oustanding technical and management capabilities to support and grow our assessment and remediation practice. This practice includes environmental regulatory compliance, Phase I/II due diligence, and assessment and remediation projects depending on the client's needs.

Responsibilities

  • Primary Practice Area: Assessment and Remediation
  • Service Type: Phase I/II assessments
  • Project Type: Public works, Private
  • Ability and willingness to perform fieldwork and travel

Qualifications

  • B.S. degree in Engineering or a related discipline
  • Professional Registration Required: EIT or GIT
  • 2 - 5 or more years relevant work experience with at least 1 year in environmental consulting
  • Excellent technical writing and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Extensive experience and technical expertise in environmental assessment and remediation
  • Thorough knowledge of relevant state and federal environmental regulations and programs
  • Record of high achievement and leadership
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Able to work independently with minimal technical supervision
  • Projects may involve travel
  • Passionate about delivering the highest quality service and creating value for clients
  • Experience in growing business with existing clients
  • Completion of 40 hours of OSHA health and safety training for working with potentially contaminated materials and annual 8-hour refresher courses
