Description

We are a non-profit membership organization and have six full-time and two part-time employees. KWA works through four coordinated program areas: Watershed Management, Water Policy, Communications, Community Engagement, and Development. In 2014, we became the Kentucky affiliate of the National Wildlife Federation and partner with many organizations such as Watershed Watch and the US Fish & Wildlife Service.

KWA currently has annual operating revenues of approximately $500,000. The 2017 to 2020 Strategic Plan objectives will require an additional $800,000 raised over four years. Current funding comes from membership dues, foundation grants, local/state/federal programs, and donations.
