Rona Fried, Ph.D., Editor of Progressive Investor, is the CEO and founder of SustainableBusiness.com. She is known for her wide-ranging, deep knowledge of all aspects of business and the environment. She holds a Ph.D. in Social/ Organizational Psychology and was a practicing management consultant for a dozen years before changing careers to work for the environment full time. Since then, she has owned several green businesses before starting SustainableBusiness.com at the dawn of the Internet in 1996. In addition to producing Progressive Investor each month, she writes and speaks widely on green investing and green business. She writes an "Investing in Clean Energy" column for Solar Today Magazine and serves on the Board of ECO, the WilderHill Clean Energy Index.
