comScore Says Matter Network Has Most Engaged Green Audience

May 5th, 2009 - In its first-ever measure of green-oriented content on the Web, comScore shows Matter Network - an elite alliance of web publishers focused on solutions to environmental and social challenges - is attracting the most engaged consumers (as measured by total page views and minutes) leading the charge towards a sustainable future. 

According to the March 2009 comScore Media Metrix Extended Categories report, readers of Matter Network's alliance of sites spent 26 million minutes with Matter Network content, compared to eight million minutes with the content of the next highest scoring entity, Yahoo Green.  In addition, Matter Network saw 7,457,000 visits and 27 million page views to its alliance of sites in March, compared with 4,914,000 visits and seven million pages viewed for Yahoo Green.  Average minutes per visit on Matter Network sites was 3.5 while Yahoo Green's were 1.6.  Visits per visitor on Matter Network were 2.7 - nearly twice that of most other sites in the category.
