Ontario PV Manufacturer Opens Production Lines

In the second half of October, Solgate Inc. (Woodbridge, Toronto, Ontario) will present its renovated solar module assembling production line.

Solgate Inc. has worked in the Canadian market for six years and is the sole solar module manufacturing company in Ontario. After renovation and expansion of the production line in April this year, the company is able to produce 25 MW of solar modules per year with expandability of production up to 50 MW per year.

Except for traditional  modules with a capacity of 210 - 230 W that are  made of polycrystalline silicon   and modules with capacity of 175 - 185 W (made of monocrystalline silicon cells), the company is able to produce innovative products such as: modules with a special frame that allows to join modules hermetically where the modules may be used instead of the roof; hybrid modules that apart from electricity production heat water for domestic needs; modules producing alternating current.

Solgate Inc. manufactures products certified for using both in North America and in Europe. The modules are used for building electrical stations in Spain (Malagi region) and in Germany (Bavaria).

This event will attract the attention of local developers, solar module installers and representatives of the local administration and politicians.
