~Wind and Solar Specialists is a division of Anemometry Specialists, a Wind Assessment and Met Tower installation company. ~

Anemometry Specialists was founded in 2002 by Rob and Tara Hach. Rob has been involved in the renewable energy business since 1994 learning the ropes from some of the early pioneers. Anemometry Specialists began with two employees and now employs 27 full time experienced staff members. Rob and Tara enjoy being part of the renewable energy market and helping their customers with Wind and Solar projects. Rob is an active member of many wind energy associations and organizations including being a board member of the Iowa Wind Energy Association.

Our corporate office is located in Alta, Iowa. This centralized location is in the heart of the great plains Wind Corridor and is surrounded with wind turbines. In fact, all you have to do is walk out the front door to see some of the early wind turbines gently turning a few hundred yards away. Anemometry Specialists proximity to the wind corridor is a major reason why we have been selected for over 1,300 wind assessment projects.

Anemometry Specialists is dedicated to providing our customers with great service. We are constantly training our technicians on the latest products to ensure that our installations exceed the expectations of our clients.  

Position Overview  

The Network Relationship Manager is responsible for attracting new customers and identifying potential prospects. 


Essential Job Functions:  

  • Experience in business development, and thrives on building a pipeline as well as growing existing client relationships.
  • Face-to-face marketing, sales and customer service.
  • Strong communication skills and motivation to build a wider network of clientele.
  • Contact clients with relevant and timely information regarding industry updates that may affect them.
  • Assist with analysis and preparation of potential projects. Conduct in-depth client reviews to uncover new business opportunities.
  • Strong follow-through and follow-up skills.
  • Adheres to and is knowledgeable regarding regulatory requirements.
  • May act as a liaison between business development and project coordinators.
  • Provide input on marketing and coordinate production of marketing materials. Attend trade shows and other related events. 


  • Must be able to travel and visit prospected new clients within a designated area.
  • Self-motivated and relentless in seeking solutions and answers.
  • Willingness to be coached to outperform expectations.
  • Self-motivated individual that can work independently and within a team environment.
  • Sales or consultative experience with a proven ability to develop a rapport quickly on the phone.
  • Ability to explain information to clients in simple, everyday language.
  • Exercises accuracy, courtesy, tact and patience when interacting with all levels of employees and customers.

  • A passion for learning, growing and finding creative solutions to tough problems.
  • College education, with some related experience, and a strong desire for professional growth.
  • 1-3 years in a customer facing role (retail, sales etc.). Solar knowledge a plus. 

Physical Requirements: 

  • Standing, sitting, walking, talking, listening and keyboarding.
  • Effectively handle lifting of various objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, attend trade shows and travel.
