Geotechnical Engineer

Position Overview:

This position will be located in the Marlton, NJ Office and will be part of the newly formed Plant Design Services Department. This department will support Nuclear Dry Storage projects and Holtec International's development and implementation of a Small Modular Nuclear Reactor.

We are seeking a degreed Geotechnical Engineer with directly applicable experience in leading soil boring exploration programs the design of soil remediation foundations, and preparation of CSI Construction Specifications. 

Responsibilities:

• Preparing site layout, grading and drainage designs
• Preparing Calculations, Reports, Drawings and Construction Specifications
• Preparing storm and flood calculations
• Preparing documents to aid in Construction Requests for Proposal
• Management of test boring exploration programs
• Preparation of geotechnical investigation and foundation recommendation reports
• Assigned as technical lead for various project with Geotechnical Support 

Qualifications:

• 2-10 years of experience for a junior to mid-level engineer with EIT/PE
• 12+ years of experience for a Senior Engineer with a PE
• Familiarity with applicable Design Codes and Standards
• Significant Experience as a Geotechnical Engineer
• Prefer Nuclear Experience, but not required
• BS/MS degree in Civil Engineering with Concentration in Geotechnical Engineering
• Professional Engineering Certification Required
