Position Overview:

Reporting to the CFO, the Director of Accounting will be responsible for providing hands-on oversight and direction across the company's worldwide accounting function. The successful candidate will be an innovative and results-oriented leader with strong technical and accounting skills.  

Responsibilities:

• Driving period-end closes for both domestic and international entities.
• Reconciling, analyzing and ensuring the integrity of general ledger accounts and information.
• Preparing and maintaining period-end schedules and work papers.
• Forecasting near term cash requirements and obligations.
• Developing, managing and providing guidance to the domestic and international accounting staff.
• Providing accounting support for forecasting and tax reporting.
• Leading and/or participating in special projects as assigned.
• Maintaining a high level of internal control.

• Dedicated and proven manager who leads by example and has a passion for building, directing, mentoring and retaining results-focused, quality driven accounting teams.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, project management, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Extensive verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills and the ability to interface with senior management within and outside the firm.

Education/Experience

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting and CPA. 
• Master's degree preferred. 
• 10-12+ years of hands-on accounting experience.
