Position Overview:

Zager Plumbing & Solar, Inc. is seeking skilled plumber mechanics with commercial construction experience for project work who can work the job from start to finish.

Candidate must be capable in all aspects of new commercial plumbing and renovations who can be a hands on working Foreman who has to be given minimal direction and lead men through the project 

Qualifications:

• You MUST hold experience in soldering and fitting copper pipe, plumbing fixtures, pipe hangers, and cast iron as well as pvc sanitary piping, roof drainage, cut and threading steel pipe, and Victaulic also helpful
• Our company also does chilled and hot water piping, Hdpe fusion welding, and various types of other piping materials used in the trade
• Rough In
• Able to run backhoe, bobcat, tampers
• Read blueprints
• Pull measurements accurately to locate plumbing fixtures with only batter boards
• Able to utilize manpower properly to get the job done on time
• Knowledge of waste, water, vent, gas, condensation piping systems in commercial application
• Must be willing to work late to finish the job
• Top out
• Knowledge of waste, water, vent, gas, condensation piping systems in commercial application
• Read Blueprints and SPEC sheets
• Pull measurements accurately to locate plumbing fixtures off of columns (layout)
• Urinals, toilets, lavatories, water fountains, water heaters, boilers, trap primers
• Wall hung carriers, ADA, shower valves, floor drains
• Knows proper measurements for all plumbing fixtures
• Able to utilize apprentices properly to get the job done on time
• Must be willing to work late to finish the job
• Finish
• Able to set all plumbing fixtures
• Must be able to do a neat job fast
• Must be willing to work late to finish the job
• MUST have 15+ years experience at the commercial level.
• MUST have a clean driving record - no exceptions. We will run your driver's license during the initial interview process so please only apply if you have a clean driving record

Compensation: Pay will start at $23.00 per hour for the first 90 days and if you show the skills we are requiring along with what you have represented yourself with, then you will be raised to $25.00 an hour.
