Each office hosts weekly onsite and online conferences to facilitate face-to-face networking and online collaboration with industry leaders. Agrion also launches, manages and supports ventures and projects in renewable energies, smart grid, EVS, energy efficiency and sustainability.

Position Overview:

Agrion San Francisco is currently seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support the role of the Community Manager in the organization and management of meetings.

Responsibilities: 

  • Assist with speaker identification for onsite roundtables and online webinars (invitations, mail outs, follow-up, phone calls, etc...)
  • Conduct research on energy, sustainability and green building related topics
  • Write agendas and speaking points for meetings
  • Assist with attendee outreach (identify relevant companies, experts, and individuals and send out invitations and follow-up)
  • Contribute to the preparation of meetings
  • Attend on-site meetings (early mornings or late evenings)  

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree or higher 
  • Proven background and interest in energy/sustainability field (previous work experience or degree)
  • Strong writing skills required
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask 
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and attend early morning or evening meetings
  • Dress appropriately in business attire for attending meetings
  • Capacity to work autonomously and take initiative while accepting direction from supervisor

Compensation: $13/hour (up to 38h/week)
