Intern Extraordinaire

JenB.TV is hosted by Jen Boulden, co-founder of Ideal Bite, the green daily email that amassed over a half million subscribers and was subsequently purchased by Disney.  

Tips on food, animals, pregnancy, gardening, and green interior design are spoon-fed, and the host’s personal stories about using those tips are shared through social media and a weekly email. 

The mission is to now take green to the next level.  The approach is real, and really fun. JenB.TV is fresh thinking on green living.

Position Overview:

JenB.TV is seeking an Intern Extraordinair to work with an experienced team of professionals to support all levels responsibilities for the JenB.TV including, but not limited to, editorial, social media, and PR.  The JenB.TV intern will gain experience in professional writing, real world experience online and off, and contacts in the green industry.

This internship is unpaid but structured to give the interns maximum exposure to online and green business strategy, with our goal being to provide the interns with solid experience and help the interns find paid work for their talents.

Responsibilities:

• In-depth research of fun green topics for weekly videos
• Correspondence with product reps  
• Conduct PR outreach   
• Social media support
• Special projects, as needed

Qualifications: 

• Minimum commitment of 10-15 hours per week
• Excellent research, writing and communications skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• An independent working style requiring minimal supervision
• And most importantly, a PASSION for bringing green mainstream.

Compensation: This internship is unpaid but structured to give the interns maximum exposure to online and green business strategy, with our goal being to provide the interns with solid experience and help the interns find paid work for their talents. 

Internships are on volunteer basis but often lead to paid positions within 3 months.  Additionally, green product samples will be shared freely. :-)
